6 Rituals to Start your New Year

As we complete another year around the Sun, we enter new beginnings. The spring equinox is the time when most of the people around the world celebrate their new year. This is also known as astrological New Year.

Here are some of the rituals that would benefit you and your house as we kick start the new beginning.

  1. Dew drops on face: Get up early in the morning and feel the dew drops on your face. This will act as a natural facial and would give your face a natural glow. Thank Mother Nature for the wonderful gifts and say the following affirmations, "I love and honor myself" and "I'm becoming the best version of myself"

  2. Spring cleaning for your soul: Take a bath using sea salt. While you clean your body, symbolically cleanse your mind and soul as well. Call in the power of the water that is encompassing you and imagine that the water is cleaning all your worries, negativity and bad thoughts. After you are done with this, cleanse your space by burning sage or camphor. Open the windows and let the fresh air come in.

  3. Buy or energize your crystals: This is a good time to buy new crystals or energize already existing ones. This will give you a jump-start for your New Year journey.

  4. Make a wish: Write down your wishes on a piece of paper and write as if they are already fulfilled. You can light scented perfumes while you are doing this activity. Keep this paper in an envelope and read it from time to time later in the year.

  5. Break free: After writing down your wishes, it is time to introspect the bondages that you are facing. What is holding you back from getting to your goal? Write everything down and make an airplane from that paper. Now mentally release this airplane and see your blockages disappear in thin air. Later on you can burn this paper and drain it away.

  6. Sow your dreams: Take some edible seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, etc) and keep them in your hands. Visualize your dreams being nourished in those seeds. Now, you can either eat these seeds or sow them in soil. You can also feed them to birds. Say the following, "Here I plant my dream, here I set my wish. So be it."

Please remember that these are all symbolic ways of starting afresh and symbols are a great way to manifest your desires. After doing these things don't forget to put in those needed efforts to achieve your goals, to think of good thoughts and to welcome positivity all through the year.

This is really, really important & well-spoken. These haters in the responses don’t get it, but I hope that reading your piece may have nudged them in the right direction.
